Palm Springs, CA, June 2005 Median Home Price Still Hot and Affordable!
The median price of a desert home in Palm Springs, California is just as hot as the June temperatures rise to record levels, however the price has dipped to $369,500 in June, down from the record setting $385,000 in May of 2005. Unsold inventory also appears to be at 80% higher levels than a year ago according to Greg Berkemer of the California Desert Association of Realtors, the association's executive director, indicating that the market appears to be less of a seller's market.
