Active Adult Community to Throw Concert at New Home Neighborhood This Weekend

We received an invitation today for the public that home builder K. Hovnanian is throwing another 50's Music Concert at the Four Seasons active adult community in Palm Springs a week from Saturday, the weekend of Saturday, August 13th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Homes at the Four Seasons development are priced starting in the $300,000s, with resales on the market in the mid $300,000s as well. The Four Seasons is for active adults 55 and older and has a community pool and several amenities. There are seven model homes now open in this north Palm Springs development.

Palm Springs, CA, June 2005 Median Home Price Still Hot and Affordable!

The median price of a desert home in Palm Springs, California is just as hot as the June temperatures rise to record levels, however the price has dipped to $369,500 in June, down from the record setting $385,000 in May of 2005. Unsold inventory also appears to be at 80% higher levels than a year ago according to Greg Berkemer of the California Desert Association of Realtors, the association's executive director, indicating that the market appears to be less of a seller's market. Hermosa Coachella Model Homes Are Finally Released

Another new home neighborhood known as Hermosa in Coachella built by Ryland homes is sold out. The final releases are completed, seven in total are done. The model homes are now being released for sale. This is the last opportunity to purchase in one of Coachella's newest neighborhoods, located at Calhoun and Avenue 48. The pricing on the model homes hasn't been announced officially, however, we can tell you to expect pricing somewhere around the low $300,000s given that these are model homes. They are "decorator-selected upgraded" homes and you'll undoubtedly end up paying a bit more.

New Home Buyer Tip: Hire a resale agent, as we have stated previously! Resale agents will negotiate the best deal for you, especially at the end of the close-out of the end of these phases. The builder wants to finalize all the sales and move on. There's absolutely no requirement that you must work with the on-site sales agent or builder represenative in the purchase of a new home. Sometimes new home buyers are confused by the new home buying experience simply because they just don't understand the new home buying process.

Palm Springs New Homes Local Active Adult Community Throwing Free Concert This Weekend

I just received word today that the local Four Seasons active adult community in Palm Springs is throwing a free county music concert to drum up sales in their new home community. It's being planned on Saturday June 4, 2005 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in Palm Springs.

I wanted to take this opportunity to remind new home buyers that there are several resales on the market at this active adult community in Palm Springs. If you're interested in obtaining a list of resale homes in the Four Seasons in Palm Springs, please contact me, and I'll be pleased to send you a list or put you in contact with one of the agents we work in Palm Springs who understands this market and works directly with seniors. They also know about many senior discounts in real estate.

New home buyers should always be represented by their own agent, not an onsite builder representative. In an effort to provide more information and other insights on a real estate bubble nationally, I've found a housing bubble blog that can provide all of us some additional information on "national" trends in housing prices. The Coachella Valley is really interesting because many of us here have second homes and vacation home located in other areas throughout the United States.

Florida is currently having the hottest real estate market, and Las Vegas just had a super year in real estate as well. Check out this blog devoted solely to housing bubbles called what else... "THE HOUSING BUBBLE" . Find out what other online bloggers have to say about other real estate housing bubbles in other markets. Anyone interested in regional real estate bubbles, this is definitely a very interesting site on housing bubbles.

6.9% of the listings in the Las Vegas home market were reduced in price in the last week alone, according to Ben Jones. Now this comes just in time for the Memorial Day Weekend! Las Vegas is one of the Hottest Real Estate markets on the West Coast as well and its price appreciation has been through the roof in 2004, and if anyone's bubble is ready to burst, well, some experts feel that the Las Vegas housing market is in a precarious state. However, some REALTORS® rely on the statistics noting that based on the availability of inventory of homes on the market now and what homes have sold for in the past two months with the average price of a home now at $331,634 in May of 2005, that homes are likely to continue to increase in 2005.
